• Artifacts tagged systemslab/metrics now fall back to the metrics viewer when the parquet source has no source-specific viewer. A specific source (rezolus, llm-perf, rpc-perf, vllm, sgl) still wins.

• Transient storage backend errors during artifact upload (e.g. intermittent 5xx from S3) now surface as 503 Service Unavailable instead of 500 Internal Server Error, completing the mapping introduced in v141.
• The runner's parquet metrics upload now retries on transient HTTP 5xx responses, capped at 10 attempts so a persistent server outage doesn't keep the runner alive indefinitely.
• GET /api/v1/artifact/{id}/parquet-metadata now returns 400 with a clear message when the backing-store object is missing, instead of 410 or 500.
• A failed artifact upload no longer leaves behind a database row pointing at a backing-store object that was never written.
